Elderly Caregiver Tasks and Assignments
Home Senior Caregivers are trained and specialized in care, are responsible for taking care of the health, safety and well-being of the elderly as well. they are in charge of keeping company and helping with day-to-day activities, trying to maintain or even restore autonomy to the elderly. Our contract with the elderly's family provides that we provide trained and specialized labor for the services now contracted for caregivers of the Elderly, namely:
Taking care of the patient's body and oral hygiene, whether in bed or in the bathroom; change of bed linen; drying the bathroom after use; separation of dirty clothes; and if you need help in washing the elderly person's clothes, maintaining the organization of the patient's room, as well as helping or preparing the patient's food, leaving the used dishes clean; oral medication reminder; assistance in taking medications orally, walking; follow-up to appointments, exams, and procedures, leisure or shopping, assistance in the patient's mobility and accommodation in a wheelchair, follow-up in possible hospitalizations (respecting the defined service delivery times and any extraordinary travel expenses) and care door and phone
residence, in the impossibility of anyone to do so.
